Our ‘Hedgehog Crossing’ sign enables garden connectivity essential for Hedgehog survival. This sign is used to strengthen & reinforce your garden fence after cutting a hole allowing free passage of Hedgehogs to neighbouring gardens or wildlife areas.
Hedgehogs can travel up to a mile a night to feed and to meet mates to breed. Tunnels that allow access into or through your garden make this a lot easier for them. Encourage a safe passage to and from your garden & neighbours by creating a small hole at the base of fences & borders.
Check borders & hedges before cutting or using strimmers to make sure they are Hedgehog & wildlife free to minimise any harm. Leave a quiet area of your garden uncultivated and avoid using pesticides, so Hedgehogs have a safe haven to feed.
