One large tub contains approx 250, the size of the Wax Worms vary from 15-20mm. When you receive your Wax Worms, to make them last longer, put them in a cool place. Doing this will slow them down and prevent them from turning into a pupae. Their soft body is easily digestible and very nutritious. New hungry mouths.
It's at this time of year that our newly fledged birds can do with a bit of a boost
Live meal worms are pretty much guaranteed to get birds into your garden (even your hand) especially Robins and Blackbirds. And it's satisfying to know that by continuing to feed your birds you are helping them survive what is becoming a topsy turvy year, weather wise.
