The 4 seed ports on the upper half of the Squirrel Beater provide a surface area for clinging, while the 4 seed ports on the lower half of the feeder provide 4 perches for perching. You will find a great amount of activity as the birds move from perching to clinging as they complete for a feeding position. How it works- Openings in the wire shroud align with seed ports and provide birds access to the seed. When a squirrel climbs onto the feeder, its weight automatically forces the shroud down closing access to the seed ports. All squirrels and many large birds are foiled. The feeder is designed to dismantle easily, without tools, so cleaning is effortless. It holds up to 1.3 litres of seed or 1 kg.

New hungry mouths.

It's at this time of year that our newly fledged birds can do with a bit of a boost
