What is a default delivery address? How much does it cost?
You may have specified more than one delivery address in your account information. The default delivery address is the address to which your order will be shipped unless you select another delivery address for this order. We can not deliver to the Highlands and Islands of Scotland or the mainland islands of England including any or all of these Post Codes, IV, HS, KA27&28, KW, AB31to38 AB40to56 PA20to78, PH4to50, ZE, BT, IM & PO23. Our postage charges AFTER DISCOUNTS are £5.00 for each order under £10 in value, £2.50 up to £45 in value, over £45 is free. If you require further information on postage please ring us on 0845 330 8908.

What is a default credit card?
For your increased security we no longer hold card details on our site. When paying by card you will be re-directed to Protx to make your secure payment.

Can I have more than one billing address?
No. You cannot have more than one billing address. But you can change your billing address by editing it.

Can I have more than one delivery address?
Yes. You can specify as many delivery addresses as you want.



How can I add a delivery address to my address list?
To add a delivery address, click on Account Info. The details of your account are displayed. Click on the Add New Delivery Address button to add a new delivery address.

Can I delete an address from my address list?
No. You cannot delete any address but you could change it by editing it.

How do I make changes to an address in my list?
To edit an address, click on Account Info. The details of your account are displayed. Click on the Edit button below the address that has to be changed.

How do I check the status of my order?
To check the status of an order, click on the Order Status link. If you know your order number and the type of transaction (orders, quotations or return orders), enter it and click on the Submit button. To view multiple orders, enter the purchase order number if provided by you or select the display type from the drop-down list and specify the desired period. All the orders you have placed with us (both through the web and through other means) are listed. Click on the order number whose status you want to check, the order details are displayed.

How do I cancel or return an order?

We want you to be happy each time you shop with us. Occasionally though, we know you may want to return items.

For all items:

If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase you should call us within 14 days to arrange it’s return; we will replace the item or issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item.

If the items were Sent in Error or Defective:

You can return items if they are defective or have been sent to you because of an error on our part . If you are returning an item because of an error or because it is defective, we will be happy to refund any delivery charges incurred in sending the item to you and your costs in returning it to us.

Please note: we only accept returns of items that have been opened if they are defective. Please see below for details of how to return defective items to us.

If you want to return an item:

If you wish to return an item, please inform us by calling 0845 3308908. Wrap the package securely, enclosing a note giving your contact details and the reason for the return. In the case of a defective product, please also provide a full description of the fault.

For your protection we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service.

This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.

If you are canceling an item:

Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any item within 7 working days, beginning the day after the delivery date. If you decide to cancel, please inform us by calling 0845 3308908 and then return the goods to us unopened and in their original condition.

This applies to all our products. However, we regret that we cannot accept cancellations of contracts for items where the packaging has been opened.

To cancel your contract, return the item to us with the delivery note and a note confirming that you wish to cancel, and stating your contact details and customer number.

Please Note: you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is faulty.

If we arrange for the items to be collected we will deduct the cost of doing so from the amount refunded. As soon as we receive notice of your cancellation of this order, we will refund the purchase price for that item within 10 days.



What are the benefits of registration?
As a registered customer, you become entitled to special discount schemes and promotional pricing offers. These schemes would become available to you not only on orders you place at our web store but also to orders through other channels.

I already have an account with you. Do I need to register myself again on your web store?
No. If you already have an account with us, contact our Customer Service; they will give you your login name and password. You can login and then change your password.

Can I place an order without registering my account?
Before you place an order with us, you must register with us. We understand how valuable your time is and our registration has been designed to take up not more than a few minutes of your time. Once you have registered with us, you need not give your address and credit card details on future visits to our shop. This will save you the trouble of entering this information on every purchase you make from us.

How can I place an order without using my credit card?
There are no other payment options available on the Online Shop, only credit/debit card option will be shown on the check out page. If you wish to pay by Cheque, please ring our sales office to place your order. If you need any further assistance, please contact our Customer Service Department.

What should I do if I forget my password?
If you are a registered user and have forgotten your password, go to the Login page and simply type in your Login Name or your default E-mail address under "I am a registered user but forgot my password" and click on submit. We will send your password to your default E-mail address.

Privacy Statement
Soar Mill Seeds Ltd collect any inputed information at the time of ordering and registering, Examples of such information include: Name, Address, Telephone number, Email address, Country of abode. The information collected may be used to send you the information you have requested and to help us develop the site to be more useful to you. On occasion we may use any information that you supply for direct marketing purposes or to inform you of news and special offers that we we think may be of interest to you. If you wish to opt out of the receipt of direct marketing information you may do so by sending an email to privacy@soarmillseeds.co.uk with a subject line of “Opt-Out of Direct Marketing”.

Pricing And Discount
If you regularly order from Soar Mill Seeds you will already be benifiting from a 5% discount off all our seeds and peanuts. For every 4th and subsequent order within a 12 month period you will see your own price shown in the online shop, but you must register and login to receive this. As a registered customer you will also benefit from any promotoins we run from time to time.

Payment Options
We only accept credit/Debit cards on the Online Shop. This method will be shown to you in the "Payment Method" area while creating an order. If you wish to pay by Cheque, you must phone your order to our Sales Department on 0845 330 8908. If you need any further assistance, please also contact our Sales Department.
