Sparrows have been breeding since spring - we think 3 broods in some cases. Plenty of starlings too as well as plenty of bluetits, great tits and even one or two goldfinches.

Loads of sparrows this year - far more than last - and they are eagerly tucking into the Finch and Sparrow mix and also peanuts, which is a first for us.
It's most definitely that time of year again, to look at your gardens nest boxes of course! Even though we are still in winter the days are getting longer and the birds will be looking at nest sites. Time to clean out boxes and replace old and broken ones too.
One of the easiest bird to get to breed will be a Blue or Great tit, as long as they have plenty of natural food available the only other thing they need is a Nest Box. So take a look at ours all designed by experts and from sustainable sources.
