WAYPARK 9.96 Hectares 24 acres.
I have no information, as yet, on where this field got it's name but I shall continue to look.
A strangely shaped field with some steep slopes it is surrounded with scrub and grass fields, this makes it a prime feeding spot for Cirl bunting and many pairs do breed around it. Part of Higher Level Stewardship it grows spring barley every other year for winter stubbles. 0.62 Ha have also been put into wild bird mix in each year this has held many Song thrush through the winter.
