Summer season gets underway at the cove. This is looking down from Hazel Torr that towers above the cove.

 

Shampoo washed ashore from the MSC Napoli

When the MSC Napoli ran aground huge amounts of the shampoo "Pantene" were washed out. During storms this was the result on Soar Mill Cove.

Park the car at Bolberry Down (free) and take the spectacular cliff walk towards Soar Mill Cove. Here you will be looking down over 400' high cliffs.

During the winter we need to control the gorse growth, a real favourite with my son Rheece!

A very common sight at Southdown Farm. Our hare population just keeps going from strength to strength.

One of the special sights at Southdown is that of our Sika deer. The stags in full display are quite majestic.
