Black Sunflower is a very popular and preferred seed of many birds including the Finches and Tits. Best fed in a hanging seed feeder. Remember to collect up your sunflower husks and use them as a mulch for the garden.

    You may have noticed that I have increased my usual volume of Black Sunflower seed? The rascals love it, especially the blackbirds. And all the others do too. They have all become so very tame.

New hungry mouths.

It's at this time of year that our newly fledged birds can do with a bit of a boost

Live meal worms are pretty much guaranteed to get birds into your garden (even your hand) especially Robins and Blackbirds. And it's satisfying to know that by continuing to feed your birds you are helping them survive what is becoming a topsy turvy year, weather wise.
